If you’re traveling to Aruba with babies, toddlers, or preschoolers, the “best” resort usually comes down to a few parent make-or-breaks: easy beach access, a pool setup that works for littles, quick food options, and the kind of room layout that lets naps happen.

Below are five great family picks that I recommend:
1) Marriott’s Aruba Surf Club (Palm Beach)
This is one of my top “easy mode” choices for families—especially if you want space + a kitchen. Many accommodations are villas with separate living areas and a full kitchen (or kitchenette in some room types), which is huge for bottle washing, toddler snacks, early breakfasts, and nap-time dinners.
For little kids, the big win is the pool complex—including a lazy river—plus a kids club / children’s play area so parents can actually relax a bit.

2) Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa and Casino (Palm Beach)
Hyatt is a classic Aruba family favorite because it’s built like a true resort: you’ve got an inviting pool scene and an easy “walk out, and you’re on Palm Beach” vibe. For parents with little ones, Hyatt stands out for having Camp Hyatt (kids programming) and family-friendly touches like cribs, high chairs, and kids’ menus/activities—the kind of practical stuff that matters when you’re traveling with babies and toddlers.

3) Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort (Oranjestad)
Renaissance is the “Aruba experience” resort—especially if your kids will lose their minds over a boat ride and a private-island day. Guests access the resort’s private island by complimentary water taxi, which makes beach time feel like an adventure (and breaks up the day in a fun way for toddlers).
For families, you’ll want to focus on the Ocean Suites side (that’s the family-friendly side). They also offer Patamingo Kids Club with activities, and note that babysitting services are available, which is helpful if you want even one kid-free dinner.

4) Barceló Aruba (All-Inclusive) (Palm Beach)
If you want an all-inclusive right on Palm Beach, Barceló is a solid family option because it keeps the day simple: food is handled, snacks are easy, and you’re steps from the beach. The property positions itself as an all-inclusive family resort, and its all-inclusive inclusions include a Kids Club with supervised activities (ages 4–12)—great for splitting time between the pool/beach and planned activities.
For parents traveling with littles, I like Barceló when you want a resort where your day rhythm can be: breakfast → beach → nap → pool → dinner without a lot of planning.

5) Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive (All-Inclusive) (Druif Beach)
Tamarijn is one of the most straightforward “family beach week” picks—especially because so many rooms are oceanfront-facing, which makes it easy to go in and out for naps, snacks, sunscreen reapplication, and quick resets.
For kid-friendly structure, Tamarijn offers organized kids programming (including the Sea Turtles Club for ages 4–12) and notes that family accommodations with adjoining rooms are available upon request, which is helpful if you’re traveling with multiple little kids.
Rooms also include practical basics like a mini refrigerator for personal use, which parents always appreciate.

Quick note on all-inclusives
- All-inclusive: Barceló Aruba, Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive
- Not traditionally all-inclusive: Marriott’s Aruba Surf Club, Hyatt Regency Aruba, Renaissance Wind Creek (though some packages may bundle meals)
