For our most recent flight, we took both my toddler and my baby from Idaho Falls to Phoenix, Arizona. The short itself is short, only two hours, and it was in the evening time. She is currently breastfeeding and I didn’t plan to pump while traveling, although I am bringing my pumping supplies! Check out this blog post about what I bring in my travel pumping bag!
I hope that gives you a little context of why I packed what I did in her flight bag! As we take different flights with varying durations and times of day/night, I’ll create new blog posts with everything that is inside!

What’s Inside My Baby’s Flight Bag:
We’re using the No Reception Club Diaper Bag! I really love this bag to fly with because it can fit so much inside and keep it all organized at the same time! Plus the size counts as a personal item and I can fit it underneath the seat in front of me!

Nursing gear:
I packed a nursing cover with me because baby girl is in a very distracted eating phase right now! I also brought a portable sound machine with me that’s going to help cut down on some of the surrounding noise to hopefully help her focus more and not keep latching on and off. I also brought an inflatable nursing pillow with me this time. I of course brought some of my favorite burp cloths, too.
You can check out my favorite portable nursing supports by reading this blog post!
Entertainment:
I brought a few baby travel toys to help keep her entertained. I also threw in a teether, too! You can check out my favorite baby travel toys in my Amazon Storefront of by reading this blog post.
Sleep:
I am bringing a muslin blanket and can use this to swaddle her with if she decides to take a nap. I’m also bringing my Tushbaby with me to hold and rock her to sleep.

Diaper Changes:
I’m using the Sidekick bag from No Reception Club to put a few diapers and a pack of wipes inside. I also have a portable changing pad from Tushbaby that I really like. I then placed several more diapers just in case in the bottom of the bag.
Cleaning:
I like to keep hand sanitizer for me along with a travel-size container of Clorox wipes in the backpack. I also have this baby hand sanitizer for her!
Clothing:
I have a wetbag from Esembly baby that I brought for soiled clothes. I also brought an extra onesie and an extra sleeper just in case of accidents or excessive drool!
