This blog post will be continually updated throughout the year as we work to achieve our goal of having 23 toddler adventures in 2023.
When we had a baby, we were constantly told that our travels and adventures would come to an end. Then when we found that to not be true at all, we got people saying, “well just wait until he’s a toddler then you’ll never want to leave the house.” Because of this, our goal in 2023 is to have 23 unique toddler adventures to break the stereotype that toddlers keep you chained to the house.
1. Visiting the Disney Aulani Resort in Hawaii
We’ve had such an incredible stay at Disney Aulani! Small World Vacations organized this vacation for us and once again we’ve been blown away by their services! (Last year they also organized a Disney cruise for us). If you’re looking for an agency to find the best rates for a Disney vacation for your family, definitely recommend contacting them! Their services are FREE! ✨You can see more about our stay here.

2. Snorkeling With A Toddler
The first introduction to snorkeling was a success! 🤿 Steve and I love to snorkel so I really wanted to figure out a way to include Briggs in the fun! We purchased this clear bottom raft so our toddler who can’t wear a mask yet could participate with us.

3. Skiing With A Toddler
Skiing with a toddler….was actually really fun and we’d totally do it again! Set realistic expectations and don’t plan to be skiing on the mountain the entire time. 🎿 he’s 2 years old (27 months). Two things that really helped us were this skiing harness and edgie wedgie.
Take a realistic look at the video we created about skiing with a toddler for the first time.
4. Attending A Famous Winter Carnival
We had such a lovely time visiting Quebec City during their Winter Carnival!

5. Staying In An Ice Hotel
This was definitely a unique adventure that we took our toddler to experience! The Hotel de Glace is located in Quebec, Canada. We created several videos about our stay and you can find them by clicking on the links below.

6. Visiting New York City
7. Staying At An All-Inclusive Resort (Lopesan Costa Bavaro)
Lopesan Costa Bavaro is located in the Dominican Republic and was an excellent place to take our toddler for an all-inclusive getaway!
