Find accommodations in Moab, Utah can be quite the task because there are so many options! Right off the main street in downtown Moab sits Up the Creek Campground. They have fully furnished luxury rustic tents that are just calling your name! Nestled in the middle of a grove of trees, Up the Creek Campground lies just a couple of blocks from main street in Downtown Moab. So although you are near restaurants and shopping, it sure doesn’t feel that way!
Our Experience in the Luxury Tents
The evening that I stayed, instead of driving to go and pick up dinner, I took a nice walk to get some food. After exploring downtown, I simply walked back to this secluded oasis and had the perfect evening. Honestly, this is the perfect location for camping in/near Moab. You get the best of both worlds when you stay at Up the Creek Campground.
This campground has a unique check-in process which saves time and hassle during your travels. So basically, this is how the check-in process works.
- You check the board to see what campsite you have been assigned to
- make sure that all dues have been paid
- pick up one of the nifty carts that are provided
- load all your stuff from you car and wheel it over to your spot
- set-up
- enjoy!
Additional Camping Spots
Not only does Up the Creek Campground have luxury tents they also have campsites where you can set up your own tent. I can honestly say that my night spent glamping in Moab Utah in the luxury tent was one of the best nights of sleep that I ever had! Since I visited in October, the weather was a little chillier and it was raining the day that I was there.
However, the luxury tent provided the adequate warmth and rain protection needed. The thick comforter and blankets were perfect to snuggle up in and drift asleep to the sound of rain.
