Idaho summers have some of the best in the entire United States. Really, they’re that good. With the incredible weather, plethora of activities, and diverse landscapes, it makes you want to get outdoors to enjoy it all!

It’s hard though finding and planning a vacation where you can accomplish all the activities on your list. However, you don’t have to look any further than the Granite Creek Ranch.

Granite Creek Ranch can be found in Antelope Flats between Ririe and Swan Valley, Idaho. They have such a perfect location because they are far enough away from the city so you can disconnect, yet close enough for a grocery store run.

Here is a $55 dollar coupon off of your stay!

Great Cabins

The Granite Creek Ranch has it all! I would recommend booking one of their cabins through airbnb as they have several to choose from.

In addition to getting a cabin, you also have access to the shared kitchen/dining cabin where you can store and prepare your own meals. Besides breakfast, they’ve got you covered there!

Fishing & Canoeing

In addition to enjoying the amazing scenery and comfortable cabins, by staying, you also get free access to their fish-stocked lake. They provide all the materials that you’ll need so don’t worry about packing more equipment.

I loved the complimentary canoes that you could take out and enjoy a nice paddle on the lake.

Horseback Riding

My favorite part of the Ranch though has got to be the horseback riding! They offer several different trail rides but we were able to enjoy a 1-hour trail ride to the top of a mountain that offered a spectacular view of the Teton Mountains.

Although we were newbies, the guides made us feel comfortable and ensured that we were doing okay during the whole ride. The trail that we were led on not only had scenic lookout points, but had wildflowers and lush forest views throughout the entire route. This is a must-do activity while staying at the ranch!

If you are still planning that perfect summer getaway, stay at the Granite Creek Ranch in Idaho!

You’ll be blown away by how beautiful the area is and be able to enjoy all those bucket list activities like horseback riding, fishing, canoeing, roasting marshmallows by the campfire, and enjoying sunrises + sunsets from the deck of your very own cabin.
